The Stackerhvi Stud is a comparatively new stud, established in 1996 and
based in Whalsay, one of the islands which make up the Shetland Isles.

Our ponies have distinct Shetland character, are easily handled, strong
and friendly. Our ponies roam free in their natural surroundings which
make up the acreage of the Stud.

We currently have stallions at stud, promising colts, standard and miniature
mares (36" - 31") of black, bay and broken colours. We also have retained
fillies and some purchased fillies.

We exhibit at various pony shows in Shetland during the summer months
and visit the annual Lerwick Pedigree Shetland Pony Sale and preceeding
show each year. Naturally, we are delighted to meet visitors at the Stud, at
the shows we visit or the annual sale.
